Since I’m new to WordPress, I thought I would reach out and ask for some advice. I have been wanting to start a new blog where those who are around me all the time don’t have access to it or at least have to search endlessly to find it. Some might say why do I need such a site? Well, the answer is I need somewhere to be able to write about things that are bothering me, things I observe, and anything else on my mind and not worry about whether I’m going to upset those around me. Not that I want to be rude, obnoxious or disparaging, but I do need a place to vent. My brother and sister-in-law use Facebook and even though I know they’re writing about their job sometimes — taking care of me — I choose to leave their Facebook page entirely to themselves and their friends. They need to have somewhere to let loose.
My gosh I wrote a whole paragraph and didn’t actually ask my question. Typical me, always verbose and never straight to the point. What I am wanting to know is if I create another page using this username and password will it be easy for people who know about my Windows live spaces page to find my new blog?
I appreciate any advice.
Does anyone know how to make the text larger? Some people don’t have the great vision which I am lucky enough to still possess. At least my reading vision.
Oh yeah, if you notice any really bad comments, please let me know. I am allowing all comments right now until I have a little more time to monitor them.

Your text can be changed by using a different font, this one is indeed a tad small… Maybe you should download Windows Live Writer, or similar and experiment with the many different fonts that are offered with them… It’s just an idea of course?
Your Blogs… Well your friends will find you if they wish to… If you are worried about them not appearing on your blogs here then perhaps they are not registered at WordPress yet and so therefore their input might not be allowed… of course if they are at WordPress then all you need to do is e mail them and offer your username (Not Password)… Just billypaul2 and so… They will have access to your pages, blogs, whatever… Next time they visit…
As for Comments Made Here… You can easily track ALL Comments and deal with those at a later time, though if a comment has already been accepted by YOU then it will be more than likely someone that you know and further comments should be acceptable…

thank you so much for your input. I do think I’m going to try Windows live writer. I remember downloading it before, but I found it was easier to write a blog with spaces, but things have changed for me now.
I have already created another blog (From the Seat of My Pants) and I will be tackling many other issues which I definitely don’t talk about here.

I haven’t a clue, Billy. Still trying to navigate around here. I imagine you can start from scratch with a new blog. You could probably use the same email but have a new user name.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Hello Billy Paul! Yes, I think people will be able to find you. You are using ‘BillyPaul2′, correct? Anyone that knows you knows you as Billy Paul.
I like the idea of you venting. I dont have any family on my WLS, that way I can say what I want.

i dont think you can have a blog that cant be found. but you have options for who can get in. you have to go to your settings in the dashboard. under privacy you will find some options about who can access your blog. you can be open to the world, block search engines but still allow visitors, or simply pick who can or cannot get in.
hope this helps

It wasn’t that I didn’t want it found, it’s more than I don’t want people really close to me knowing where I am on the web. I made that mistake before.
Unfortunately when I write questions I don’t voice make them clear. Sorry about that. I am going to endeavor to do that in the future. That’s one of my new resolutions.

BP, thanks for the heads up about the changes regarding Live and WordPress (yes I have been away and not paying attention. I will be doing my first post soon so I will be in the same boat as you.
What I have been doing, whenever I need to write to other social networks, is I go to Microsoft word to clean up my typing, e.g., spelling, size of fonts as well as the size of the font. Give it a try and then see what happens.
Of course, another thing

Yo Billy, hey, good to find you here:-D I love comments in this blog site. At least you can say all ya wanna say;-) You can set yourself to moderate all comments. That’s what I’ve been doing since I came here. I suppose I came over about four months ago. It’s all right, this WordPress site. Want details? I’ll grab ‘em for you.
Really good to find you Billy. Hope all is well, love Jen (Ex-Live Spaces)
